Splawn Ranch is a new neighborhood on the southernmost edge of Killeen, just off of Hwy 195. Splawn (and adjacent Cosper Ridge Estates) is currently a little “outside” Killeen, as there is a sizeable space between it and the next nearest subdivision toward Killeen. Though it is also in the “path of development” as Killeen continues to grow southwards. It features homes by D R Horton, as well as local builders in the Cosper Ridge Estates. It is a great option if you are looking for affordable single story housing that is a little bit on the outside of Killeen.
