Highland Oaks is an older, established neighborhood on the north side of Harker Heights. In spite of the neighborhood’s relative age (most homes built in the 1970s and 1980s), Highland Oaks and the surrounding area has retained its home values and desirability very well. It is a golf course community adjacent Stonetree Golf Course and the Skylark Field airfield. It is a great neighborhood to consider for anyone looking for an established community in Harker Heights, and especially golfers.
