The longest days on market for a home that successfully sold in 2017 was on the market for 966 days. Home types that often tend to take a long time to sell are luxury homes, fixer uppers, builder homes, short sales, tenant occupied, “make me move” owners and homes with title issues.
How does it affect the price if you sell your home vacant versus while living in it? I studied the Ft. Hood area (Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove) MLS stats to come up with an answer, and it was the complete opposite of what I expected.
