Copperas Cove, TX is not the priciest housing market. Of the homes that sold in the last year (2017), the median price point was an affordable $117,000.
The most expensive Copperas Cove property to sell in 2017 sold for $489,900, a newly built 3111 square foot home by Tom Lancaster on 15 acres in El Cerrito Place.
Skyline Mountain Homes
Many of these priciest homes sit atop Skyline Mountain, featuring the neighborhoods of Skyline Estates/Oaks, Mesa Verde and the new HOA community The Reserve at Skyline Mountain. These neighborhoods feature not only various homes of all sorts of descriptions, but some of the best views in the entire Fort Hood area (only perhaps The Ridge in Harker Heights can compete on views).
Other Neighborhoods
Other areas of Cove that feature the most expensive homes include the neighborhoods just west of Hwy 116 and Fort Hood, like Reata Ranch, new construction to the North on Lutheran Church Road, and new construction to the South like in Cactus Creek.
