Features of Move-Up Homes
Move-up homes feature larger spaces for growing families, often starting with at least four bedrooms. This is also new construction builder’s ideal price point – higher than the median area sales price but low enough to still be accessible to a significant segment of buyers. As such, you will find many builder options in this space, or very recently built homes. Unlike starter homes, you are more likely to find the upgrades like tile surrounds, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, less carpet, four side masonry, and more effort into the landscaping and curb appeal.
